It's been a long way...hasn't it??

No, I didn't want to be a teacher so I decided to do something different, something that allowed me to leave schools, classrooms, kids and parents behind. But what could that be? English must be part of it, that was for sure: Languages - English - Travelling - Tourism!! Voilá! I had found my role in this world!

Diploma Técnico en Hotelería y Turismo from Regina Moure

Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as expected. I got my degree, I even worked in a Travel Agency, assisting customers in the process of deciding where and what to do on their vacations. That was great, although not enough. You know, inspiring loyalty among your customers may take a while considering  you come to see them. twice or three times a year.
I loved working there, as a matter of fact, I still love anything that has to do with Tourism (especially if I am the tourist, heheh!) but I didn't find "What I was looking fooooor" there. The human touch was missing. It was at that moment when a special person, my superior at IMS, asked me "What if you try pursuing your EFL degree?"
And I start looking for the place, the community that would help me with this new challenge. And I found it!

First exchange.

And that was how all this began. New interests emerged, new doors (virtual doors) opened to show me a  different way to learn about teaching and I liked that...

Now, I'm getting ready to face my next step in this course of studies: becoming a graduated EFL teacher. Bariloche, wait for me!
